Many people today are exploring the option to build a wind turbine for their own homes. However, often it is after years of pondering the project and thinking that it is a project to do in the vague timeframe of someday. There are some great books available that can walk you through the building process with ease, and so most people who have some basic do-it-yourself construction skills can indeed build a system for their own homes that will result in the savings of hundreds of dollars per month in electricity costs and will make their energy consumption a bit more green in the process.
